A Khulasizwe burial membership plan is a financial arrangement that provides peace of mind and dignified funeral services for individuals and their families.
4. Who can be Covered?
The Affinity Funeral Full and Half cover options typically cover the following individuals:
- The main policyholder (main member).
- The spouse of the main member.
- Up to 6 children under the age of 18.
- Extended family members (such as additional children and other blood relatives) can also be covered with the Extended Family Benefit.
5. Claim Process and Required Documents:
When submitting a claim, you’ll need to provide the following documents:
- Funeral Claim Form.
- Certified copy of the death certificate.
- Certified copies of the deceased’s and beneficiaries’ IDs.
- Certified copy of the policyholder’s ID.
- Beneficiary’s bank statement with a bank stamp.
- Police report form (for unnatural deaths).
6. Claim Payout Time:
Claims are typically paid out within 24 to 48 hours once all the necessary documents have been received.
7. Premiums and Increases:
Premiums for burial insurance may increase once a year. You’ll receive an SMS notification at least one month before any premium adjustments take effect.
